Our focus is organic growth through global expansion. This now requires us to support our growing direct and indirect channels of distribution with world class marketing support. We are seeking an individual to lead us in that endeavor.
 
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Corporate Technical Manager, this position will be responsible for the following activities:
  • Technical post sale implementation & support;
  • Help desk functions; and
  • Client/Partner technical training.
 
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Successful candidate must possess all of the following):
  • Experience in Customer Communication Management Market ;
  • Strong knowledge of Document Design, Composition & Processing
  • Ability to effectively communicate to IT users/departments.
  • Experience in Customer Communication Management Market ;
  • Strong knowledge of Document Design, Composition & Processing, Data Management, ETL, Batch, On-Demand and Interactive Production Automation, Hybrid Mail (OMRs, Barcodes), Email Processing, Tracking & Reporting, Fonts and Typography (TTF, OTF, PFB), Image Processing (JPEG, TIFF), OMR and Barcodes (1D, 2D), Printing Languages (PDF, AFP MO:DCA), User Access Management (LDAP, Active Directory), HTML 5 and Mobile Apps development for Interactive Communication and Personal Video Outputs, Application Troubleshooting, JavaScript and/or Java SE, Text/Hex editors for large files processing, SFTP, SMTP Servers Setup, XML, XSD editing, HTTPS, Software lifecycle management, AFP Viewers, Document regression testing and comparison tools, System Design/installation/setup/upgrade/monitoring and troubleshooting;
  • Ability to effectively communicate to IT users/departments.
 
POSITION DESIRABLES (These characteristics will enhance the Candidate’s chances of success)
  • Basic knowledge of Italian, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Czech, Slovak and/or Indian;
  • Strong knowledge of AFP mixed mode,  AFP line mode, PDF/A-1b, PostScript, PCL, Adobe InDesign, Adobe LiveCycle, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop;
  • Basic knowledge of ICT matters: Oracle PL/SQL, Cloud Concepts (Availability, Performance, Scalability, Disaster Recovery, Web Applications Architecture), J2EE specifications, Grid Computing concepts (Architecture, Common Pitfalls), Networking (layer2, layer3, firewalls, vpn), Network services ( LDAP, NTP, Syslog, (S)Ftp, Http, Smtp, Pop3), Virtualization, Storage (Nfs, Iscsi, replication techniques, Cifs, snapshots, backups) , Operating systems (Linux, rhel/centos), Application servers (Jboss eap 6), Database services  (Oracle DBMS 11), Web Servers  (Apache), File transfer (Vsftpd, Proftdp), E-mail services ( Postfix, Dovecot), Load balancing;
  • Ability to effectively communicate to Business users/departments;
  • Proven abilities to solve problems, learn new environments, consistently produce quality work and be customer oriented;
  • Ability to work with a flexible schedule to accommodate multiple time zones;
  • Ability to travel internationally for up to 2 weeks; and
  • Propensity for learning.
